Car of the Month - New Ford Territory
January 2012 - Get a quote on a New Ford Territory

In 2011 we saw the much anticipated updated Ford Territory, including the first ever Diesel engine in an Australian Built SUV. The Ford Territory was first released in 2004 and has sold in excess of 100,000 units. Clearly one of the most successful projects to come out of Ford in Australia. With quite a dramatic change in styling the updated shape certainly follows trends from some of the European SUV car makers. With a much more pronounced Grill and modern headlights it’s certainly a great look.
The interior of the car is where most of the changes have occurred, similarities with the Ford Falcon interior are hard to miss. The new Territory is now well up to speed with its entertainment and connectivity features with Bluetooth phone and audio, iPod/iPhone support and a new easy to use menu screen. The top of the range Titanium model (replacing the Ghia) comes with SAT NAV as standard.
One of the nice things about this car is that it’s not being exported to other countries, nice because it means it’s been designed and built with only one driving experience in mind… driving on Australian roads.
Ford is of the belief that half of the Territory’s sold in the future will be diesel. In keeping with statistics across the board now with SUV’s and larger 4x4’s in AU.
With base model NEW 2011 Ford Territories being sold off now at a touch under $40,000 we see this as a great deal, and our deal of the month.
